I did not have a lot of items on my to-do list last weekend, but damn; I got practically nothing done. I meant to buy some shoes, but what the hell is going on with shoes, these days? Why do they look so weird? What’s with all the ribs and flanges and fins and shit? Where are the normal shoes?
The only things I managed to do this weekend was to catch up with Community, the A.V. Club’s reviews of Community, and that’s about it. Oh, and I did manage to play some Dark Souls, but after about six hours (non-consecutive), I’m still basically nowhere.
To ask a question I saw on a tshirt once, must a man be productive every minute of the day? I suppose not, unless you get off on that sort of thing — some people get a massive rush from task-accomplishment, but I often find it underwhelming. Still and all, I wonder how many of the wasted weekends I can afford to have before my life goes completely off the rails.
The take-away here should be that I freakin’ love Community.
